SUMMARY
The ‘Hack Your Cyber Career’ (HYCC) SPS is a 12-session career transition pivot training, broken down into three pillars, which have to be followed separately. We have put this training together for those who are willing to actively re-invent themselves at work or those who are re-thinking to put themselves there out on the job-market.

Weekly course work: 4 hours + 2 hours of individual homework and reading.
Remote synchronous classes, individual homework, real-time “office hours” online chat.

I. PILLAR ONE: Putting yourself on the market.
Objective entails guidance through the development of your CV and your online presence on LinkedIn.

Key outcomes:

Re-think your skills through design thinking. You will be re-thinking ‘work’ and the ‘hacking’ ethos. We will share share our experiences in the job market (the good, bad and ugly), how you will get there and the rules, expectations vs. reality and self-imposed limitations.
The transferable skills C.V. Its purpose, promise and pitfalls. Building a new authentic forward looking fully ‘buzzword compliant’ CV.

II. PILLAR TWO: Building the right network.
Objective entails guidance through the job interviews through practice.
Key outcomes:

Know yourself, be true to yourself, re-define yourself! Prejudices, handicaps, how others see us and how we see ourselves to success (or not). The archetypes, adjectives and how we choose to define ourselves and an exploration of transferable job skills and characteristics: including the ‘magic’ 360o exercise.
Personal reflection. Development ‘program’, showing initiative, hobbies, personality matters and more. Building ourselves and our network, authentically – evidencing the person our colleagues, managers and clients wants to see every work-day.

III. PILLAR THREE: Career track development.
The last pillar has the following key outcomes:

Emergency parachute program. Creating your own emergency program, designed to initiate confidence.
Ladder and Trellis models. We will implement these two models to cyber career success and impact and how never to stop growing and helping others (and especially your management and colleagues).
